A traveller receives the keys to a rental car in front of the Nikola Tesla Airport terminal

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) is Serbia’s main gateway, welcoming more than eight million passengers a year. Whether you are travelling for business, visiting family or on holiday, renting a car at the airport is the fastest way to head into Belgrade or anywhere in the country straight after landing – no taxis, no bus timetables, no transfers.

In this guide we walk you through the whole process: booking, the handover in front of the terminal and returning the car before your flight home. At the end you will find answers to the questions our clients ask most often.

Why rent a car directly at the airport?

The airport is about 18 km from central Belgrade. A taxi at rush hour can take a while and cost more than expected, and public transport with luggage and children is rarely comfortable. With the car waiting in front of the terminal, you reach New Belgrade, Zemun or the city centre in 20–30 minutes via the E-70 motorway.

  • Save time – no trip to a downtown office and no waiting for a shuttle.
  • Flexibility – choose your own route, breaks and destinations, including day trips outside Belgrade.
  • Value – for two or more travellers a rental car is often cheaper than taxis and transfers.
  • 24/7 availability – pick up your car early in the morning or late at night.

How to book a car for airport pick-up

Booking takes less than a minute. The fastest way is WhatsApp or a call to +381 63 267 620. Just send us:

  1. Your preferred model or category (economy, automatic, SUV, luxury).
  2. Arrival date, approximate landing time and flight number.
  3. Return date and time.
  4. The driver’s name and a phone number reachable in Serbia (WhatsApp is fine).

You will receive confirmation within minutes. See the full fleet with prices by rental length on our all cars page.

Where exactly do you collect the car?

The handover takes place at car park P1/P2 in front of Terminal 2. Once you have collected your luggage and left the arrivals area, our representative meets you at the agreed spot. The whole procedure takes about 10 minutes:

  1. Check of your driving licence and ID card or passport.
  2. Signing a short rental agreement.
  3. Joint inspection of the car with photos of its current condition.
  4. A quick introduction to the car – lights, navigation, fuel.
  5. Keys in hand – have a great trip!

How much does airport car rental cost?

The daily rate depends on the vehicle class and the rental length – the longer you rent, the lower the price per day. We do not charge extra for airport pick-up, and every price includes full insurance (CDW), VAT and unlimited mileage.

  • Economy (VW UP, Fiat Panda, Škoda Fabia) – perfect for the city and easy parking.
  • Automatic (Dacia Logan Automatic, Renault Kadjar Automatic) – relaxed driving through traffic.
  • SUVs and family cars (7-seat Renault Espace, Audi Q7) – for larger groups and lots of luggage.
  • Luxury cars (Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Porsche Cayenne) – for business guests and special occasions.

Returning the car before your flight

You return the car to the same spot in front of the terminal. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the agreed time so the handover is relaxed and you make check-in comfortably. Return the car with the same fuel level as at pick-up – there is a petrol station right on the airport approach road.

5 tips for a stress-free start

  1. Book in advance, especially in summer and during holidays when demand peaks.
  2. Photograph the car with your phone at pick-up – it protects both you and us.
  3. Switch on dipped headlights – they are mandatory in Serbia during the day too.
  4. Install navigation (Google Maps or Waze) and download the offline map.
  5. Save our number on WhatsApp – we are available 24/7 for any question.
